Zig Zag Fest
Next Festival 2nd & 3rd October 2026
Selborne's Annual Beer, Wine and Music festival
Another Zig Zag Fest is over, and what a fabulous festival it was. Our biggest ever music line-up and a real showcase of local talent. We're particularly pleased to be supporting so many young bands playing original music.
As usual there's a lot of people to thank. Our fabulous sponsors for ensuring we're financially viable. All the volunteers that helped out on the bars, the door or selling tokens. The Selborne WI for the delicious village hall catering.
Big shout out to the bands that performed for free (and a few drinks!) - Sam Meller, Two For Joy, Retrophonic Pete, Fate of the Magpie, The Lurxx, Seasick Waves and Waist of Time.
Also, our thanks to the bands we paid to perform... The Resurrectionists, Swell, Cold July, Cold Comforts, The Dazed Minded, Key Lime Pi, Bridestone and Mikey May. You were all worth it!
Finally, thank you all the people who bought tickets and came along to listen, laugh, dance, eat, drink and be merry!
The next Zig Zag Fest will be on October 2nd & 3rd 2026

Zig Zag Fest Manifesto
The festival is not run for profit, breaking even is good enough for us! Any profit we do make is spent on village community projects. Our main aims are:
- Promoting the village, the village hall, the pubs and other businesses.
- Inclusivity - bringing people together from all backgrounds
- Keeping ticket and drinks costs low.
- Paying our evening bands. Gone are the days when small bands could make money from selling their music. Spotify has put and end to this. We look after our headliners.
- Sustainability - we're trying to minimise use of single use plastics. Making a souvenir glass each year and including it in the ticket price helps. Where we use the occasional plastic cup it's made from recycled plastic (rPET) and can be recycled again.
